Running Stitch
- Thread a needle, then make a knot in one end. Push your needle up through the paper and pull the thread through.
- Push the needle down through the paper, a small way away. Then, pull the needle through from the back.
- Push the needle up again a little way from your first stitch, then push it down again. Pulling the thread tight.
- Carry on pushing the needle upwards and downwards in the same way, so that you make a line of stitches.
- To finish off, stitch through the last stitch you made and pull the thread tight. Then stitch through it again.
- Push your needle through these stitches again, two more times. Then, cut the thread a little way away from the knot.
