YOU WILL NEED

  • 2 Toilet Rolls
  • Pink Paper / White paper (for the pig)
  • White paper (for the cow)
  • Felt tips / Crayons (if you use white paper for the pig)
  • Black Felt Tip / Marker / Pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Small piece of cardboard box cardboard

LETS GET STARTED

  • Take your paper for the cow and the pig and draw a circular shape with some ears for the pig and a circular shape with ears and horns for the cow. When drawing the circular shape for the cow as you draw round to the bottom of the circle draw half a small rectangle then continue with the circle. Make sure your circular shapes are bigger than the end of the toilet roll.
  • On both pieces of paper draw a rectangle 16cm in length and 11cm up.
  • Cut all this out.
  • If using white paper for the pig you will need to colour the face and body in pink felt tip/crayon. Using a black felt tip / markerĀ / pen you can draw on the cows black splodges.
  • Take your small piece of cardboard and draw some feet for the pig and some feet for the cow, leaving tabs on all.
  • Colour in the feet with black marker / felt tip and cut them out.
  • Take the rectangles and glue them around the toilet rolls.
  • Turn your toilet rolls on their sides and turn them so the join of the paper for the bodies is underneath.
  • Take the scissors and poke through the toilet rolls at the from and make two slits either side of the join.
  • Do the same at the back.
  • Take your feet for the animals and push the tabs through the slits, so just the feet are showing at the bottom. Pet you hand inside the toilet roll and push the tabs down so the feet stay in place.
  • Then take your circular shapes and draw eyes and mouths and noses on them with black marker / pen.
  • Glue the faces onto an end of the toilet roll tube.
  • With the left over paper you can draw two tails, colour and glue them on.
