YOU WILL NEED

 

  • Card From an old box

 

  • Glue Stick

 

  • Scissors

 

  • Ruler

 

  • Pencil

 

  • Paint

 

HOW TO MAKE

 

  • On a large piece of card from your old box, take the photo of your choice and place on the card board box and draw around it.

 

  • Measure 2cm from each corner and connect up the lines, then measure 1cm from each corner and connect up the lines.

 

  • Cut around the outside line, then cut around the inside line so the inside comes out and you are left with a frame.

 

  • Place this frame shape on a second piece of card draw around it and cut it out. You know have the backing piece for your frame.

 

  • On another piece of card draw around the picture from before and measure 1cm from each corner connect up the lines and cut around the outside and inside line again, so you have another frame shape, this time 1cm thick.

 

  • Cut the top part o the frame away so you are left with the bottom and 2 sides. this is what your photo will slot into.

 

  • Glue the three sides to your backing plate, being craeful to make sure it is central and lined up.

 

  • Glue your original photo frame shape onto the top of the baking plate and 3 sides, being careful again to make sure it is lined up and central.

 

  • Your picture should slide in at the top and now be held in place.

  • Using any leftover card cut out a tie shape and fold the top, stick the folded part to the back making sure the bottom is level.

 

  • Paint as required.
