Materials

  • Cereal Box 10 1/2 inches tall, 9 inches wide and 3-3/4 inches deep
  • Craft Knife
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Sponge (optional)
  • Gift Wrap Paper, glue and Paint

Instuctions

On the cereal box start from the bottom corner and measure up 4 inches.

At the 4 inch mark draw a line to the top opposite corner. Repeat on the oposite side of the box.

Using a sharp craft knife cut along the lines you have made, to cut away the top part of the box.

Now you have your magazine holder, you can decorate it however you want, with wrapping paper or paint.

Decorating Suggestions

Add a pattern to your magazine holder. Take a sponge and cut your required shape. Dip the shape into some paint. Print the shape onto your magazine holder.

You can also colour code your holders for different types of magazines.
